This innovative overhead solution utilizes Pow-R-Way III busway and incorporates a 19.2 kW AC Level 2 charger into the bus plug for direct vehicle charging. When a valid charge activation is received, the charge connector automatically lowers from the ceiling mounted unit to an ADA-compliant level of 48 inches. Pushing the feed button on the connector drives the cable to the electric vehicle. When the connector is removed from the vehicle it automatically retracts to protect the cable from harsh weather, vandals and tripping hazards. EVSE chargers are compatible with multiple back-end office networks using the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP).
